Introduction
The Mafiabrotherz public servers have been around for some time now and for each day new players join our ranks. When we noticed that we were one of the most visited servers according to Game Monitor we thought it was time to add a few new servers. With these servers we will offer 50 “admin slots” that will be up for rent for a 15 Euros per quarter. This way we will hopefully find more admins that are dedicated and active.In order for you to be eligible for an admin slot it’s required that your not VAC-banned or your STEAM ID isn’t included in our huge ban lists. We will also evaluate all admins, if it should show that he/she isn’t suitable we will remove that account. If your account is removed it’s not possible to apply for a new account with the same STEAM ID. We will obviously expect our admins to follow certain rules and these will be listed for you below. To apply simply send a brief introduction of yourself and your STEAM ID, Once we have approved your application you will receive an email, this is where you will pay the server admin fee. As soon as we have received the funds your admin account will be activated. All funds received from this will be used for maintenance for our servers and for your gaming pleasure
Rules
The rules listed below must be followed. Any Violations of these rules will result in a closed account. Loggs are kept on all admin activity on our servers to ensure no foul play is involved and to guarantee that players are treated fairly.
- 1. Admins may NOT allow any player or admin to spread racist thoughts or speak ill of any other nationality or ethnic group.
- 2. Admins may NOT let any player or admin spread pornography or disturbing pictures and especially not child pornography on any of our servers, as an active admin you are also required to report such events directly to the Mafiabrotherz staff.
- 3. Admins may not change maps at will without having the players vote first. Manual mapchange may only occur in an emergency. If a mapchange has occured with player votes through another admin a new vote must wait at least 15 minutes.
- 4. If you are confronted with a conflict and are unsure upon what to do, don’t hesitate to ask other admins. If no other admins are available report the event to the mafabrotherz staff and ask.
- 5. Admins may not allow players with offensive nicks to play on our public servers. The nicks may not include genital fraises, curses or generally offensive words in any form. Admins may not allow players to use their nicks to advertise for products, websites, clans, services or any other businesses or activities.
- 6. As mentioned in rule #3 there may not occur any “power struggles” between admins. If it comes to our knowledge that this has occurred there will be an investigation that may very well lead to the accounts being removed.
- 7. Admin rights must be used with common sense and understanding. In other words as an admin you must be able to act exemplary. You may not use your admin rights for revenge or personal gain. All activity is logged and if an admin is accused or abusing his or her rights these logs will be used as evidence if a removal of the account is considered.
- 8. All Admins must always follow instructions given to them by mafiabrotherz staff. Obviously they may not get involved in a staff members decision and thereby create a conflict. When you learn that a staff member is online, you may NOT utilise any amxmod commands.
- 9. If you notice a cheater you must ban the player from the server and send his STEAM ID to mafiabrotherz staff. This is done through e-mail or a PM in #mafiabrotherz IRC channel at quakenet. It’s of utmost importance that you are idle in this channel so that you are available to help players on our servers if necessary.
- 10. All admins must ban players bearing or partly bearing the nick [myg0t]. and immediately report the players STEAM ID to the staff.
- 11. We mentioned earlier that you must act exemplary, this means you mustn’t act immaturely or pick fights with anyone on the MBZ public-servers or our main channel. #mafiabrotherz at quakenet
- 12. If your account is removed there is NO refund for your admin fee. There is no possibility to “change your mind” once you have paid and had your account activated. There is no committed time for having an admin slot, your account expires each quarter, and when that happens you have no obligations to us.
- 13. Admins may not cheat or use any kind of game enhancing scripts on mbz servers.
Diverting from these rules is unacceptable and can lead to a removal of your account. If a admin-slott user breakes the rules above, he or she will get a warning. Two warnings leads to cancellation of admin-slott account. We hope you have read the rules and understood them properly.
